Brennan Palmiter

Notable Characteristics: He's a great salesman. He loves meeting and spending time with his fans. He's always willing to help others. He really try's to do his best always. He's got a good sense of humor and a big heart and he loves to drive a race car!

Racing Accomplishments: Brennan started racing go-karts in 1999 at Volusia Speedway Park . From there he branched out to run at every go-kart dirt track in Florida. Then, he moved up to race in the WKA State and National Dirt Series. From 2001 to 2004, in just over 175 starts he scored 85 top 5 finishes and 17 State and National wins.

In 2005 he moved on from karting to race a T.Q. Late Model. He raced at many dirt and asphalt tracks through out North Florida and South Georgia scoring 12 top 5 finishes and one win in just 30 starts finishing up the season 4th in overall points for his first year.

In 2006 he was planning to race the T.Q. Late Model for the full 2006 schedule but, around the middle of the year, an unusual turn of events brought a buyer for his TQ at the same time that a Limited Late Model became available at a very good price.

Brennan ran his Limited at New Smyrna Speedway starting in August earning the “2006 Late Model Rookie of the Year” honors.

In 2007 Brennan ran the full season at New Smyrna Speedway finishing 2nd in points and made his debut with the Goodyear Challenge Series.

In 2008 Brennan focused on getting seat time by traveling to different tracks running mostly 100 lap races in the Goodyear Challenge Series and the Turner Tree & Landscape Limited Late Model Series at Desoto Speedway. Plans for the 2009 season are to continue to hone his skills in the Goodyear Challenge Series while he finishes his schooling. This series fields the best Late Model racers in Florida and is sure to give Brennan the foundation he needs to move on to a full time racing career after graduating from college.

Personal Goals and Objectives: To work along a career path in motorsports that will eventually lead to driving in the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series. In January of 2009 he plans to move to North Carolina to work as a fabricator while he competes in the UARA Super Late Model Series.

Education Plan:Brennan is on a very aggressive track to graduate high school in January of 2009 completing a full 24 credit / 4 year program in just 2 1/2 years. He’s fast!   

Through a program called “Dual Enrollment”, Brennan studies college courses at Daytona Beach Community College that also go towards his high school graduation requirements. In the time that most students take to complete high school, Brennan will also obtain a certificate in Welding Technology, his AAS degree in Industrial Management Technology, and his Welding Inspector Certification.
